This fast-spreading, aquatic perennial is grown in b oth cool and
warm climates and is at home in either the muddy margins of ponds or
fully submerged in water. Flowering colors: Yellow
Cultivation: Water poppies thrive in warm-climate pools or in tubs .
They need full sun and water less than 18 in (45 cm) deep.
Plant in loamy silt with a topping of sand or gravel.
Propagate by breaking up the rhizomes .
Do not plant near waterways outside their native habitat. |
