This American species is suitable for larger waterscapes. It has
leaves that emerge 6 ft (1.8 m) or more above the water surface a nd
are almost 24 in (60 cm) across. The pale yellow, 10 in (25 cm) wide
flowers are held on solitary stalks and are followed by attractive
seed heads.
