Scarlet bush
This dense, soft-wooded shrub grows to about 10 ft (3 m). The leaves
are pale green with downy undersides, and the bright scarlet tubular
flowers are held in clusters towards the ends of the branches. The
flowers are followed by yellow-green berries that ripen to
purple-black.
