From South America, this magnificent creeper will reach great
heights of 30 ft (10 m) or more in warm climates. It is grown
chiefly for its brilliant display of orange-gold flowers in fall
(autumn), winter or spring, depending on the climate. It will only
flower well in full sun. Water well in summer and grow on a strong
pergola or arch where the flowers can droop down freely.

Cultivation: These tropical and subtropical plants should be grown
in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. They may be raised from
seed but are usually propagated from cuttings. |
