Nancy Tree is a beautiful medium size tree with a nice round
crown and bright pretty flowers turning from yellow through orange
to red with age. It is limited to tropical and subtropical climates
and is not a common plant in cultivation. The fruits are eaten raw
or cooked as dessert, or may be included in soup or in stuffing for
meats. Roots and stems have antibacterial activities. It is highly
drought-tolerant.
